Pest control questions, answered

Safety, preparation, warranties and what to expect on the day. Can't find your answer? Call 0405 533 597.

Is the treatment safe for kids and pets?

We use low-toxicity products registered with the APVMA and apply them where pests live, not across open surfaces. Once treated areas are dry, usually 2–4 hours, it's safe for kids and pets to return.

Tell us about fish tanks, birds, chickens or anyone who is pregnant or has asthma, and we'll adjust the treatment.

How long do I need to stay out of the house?

Plan to be out while we treat and until surfaces are dry, usually 2–4 hours. Inside-only gel baiting needs no time away at all.

How soon can you come out?

Most jobs are booked within 2–3 working days. For urgent jobs like wasp nests or rodents in the roof, call us and we'll try for the same or next day.

What warranty do I get?

General pest treatments come with a written 6-month warranty. If pests covered by the treatment come back in that time, we come back and re-treat at no charge.

Why am I seeing more cockroaches after the treatment?

That's normal for the first 1–2 weeks. The treatment flushes cockroaches out of hiding before they die. If you're still seeing live activity after 3 weeks, call us.

How often should I get a pest treatment?

Once a year suits most homes. If you've had German cockroaches, live near bushland or have a heavy spider problem, every 6 months keeps it under control.

Do I need to be home?

Someone needs to let us in for internal treatments. For external-only treatments we can do it while you're out, as long as we can get to the yard and side access.

Do you provide paperwork for an end-of-lease or real estate agent?

Yes. You'll get a tax invoice listing the treatment and the date, which real estate agents accept for end-of-lease pest and flea requirements.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Our technicians hold a NSW EPA pest management licence (No. 5211244). We're insured for urban pest control with $20M public liability, $20M products liability and $1M professional indemnity. We can email you a certificate of currency on request.

Which areas do you cover?

We service all of Sydney. Most of our work is in Liverpool, Campbelltown, Camden, Fairfield, Canterbury-Bankstown and the Inner West. If you're further out, send a quote request and we'll confirm.

How long does a treatment take?

A standard house takes 45–90 minutes. Units are usually around 30–45 minutes. Bed bug and rodent jobs take longer because of the inspection.

Is the price fixed?

Yes. We give you a fixed price before we start, based on your property size and what you've told us. If we find something different on the day, we'll talk to you before doing any extra work.

Do I need to empty my kitchen cupboards?

No. For cockroaches we mostly use gel bait in hinges and corners, so cupboards can stay as they are. Just clear the benches and put food away.

Can I clean or mop after the treatment?

You can clean benches and do normal cleaning straight away. Avoid mopping along skirting boards and wiping inside cupboard hinges for 2 weeks, so the treatment keeps working.

What if it rains after the outside treatment?

The products we use bind to surfaces once dry, usually within an hour or two, so normal rain won't wash them off.

Will there be a smell?

Most of our products are low-odour. You might notice a slight smell for a few hours, which clears with the windows open.

I'm pregnant or have a newborn. Is it still safe?

Let us know when you book. We can use gel baits and lower-toxicity options and keep the internal spray to a minimum, and we'll suggest you stay out a little longer while things dry.

Do you treat units and strata buildings?

Yes. We treat individual units and common areas, and we can quote on a scheduled program for strata managers. Cockroaches in units often need the whole building treated to stop them coming back.

Do you do commercial pest control?

Yes, for cafés, restaurants, offices and warehouses. We set up a regular service with a pest activity log, which helps with food safety audits.

Do you work on Saturdays?

Yes, we work Monday to Saturday, 7am to 6pm.

Do you charge a call-out fee?

No. The price we quote includes travel, products and labour.

How do I pay?

Card or bank transfer when the job is done. You'll get a tax invoice by email.
