Silverfish around Sydney
Older homes in Bankstown, Fairfield and the Inner West with poorly ventilated roof spaces and bathrooms are where we see the worst silverfish damage.
What you can do yourself
- Improve bathroom and roof ventilation
- Store linen and documents in sealed plastic tubs
- Clear old boxes and newspaper from the roof and garage
How we treat silverfish
Silverfish usually breed in the roof void and wall cavities, so we dust those areas, then apply a residual treatment to wardrobes, linen cupboards, skirting and bookshelf edges. This is included in our general pest treatment.
How to prepare
- Clear wardrobe floors and the bottom of linen cupboards
- Give us access to the roof manhole
